The Newington Midget Football/Cheer league was established over 50 years ago in the hopes of providing the youth of Newington an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of both football and cheerleading. Newington joined the Pop Warner program because of Pop Warner’s outstanding commitment to the level of football and cheerleading that Newington wanted to provide its participants. The Newington Midget Football/Cheer program has achieved National recognition with National Champions in both football and cheerleading. With the dedication of our board members, families and community, Newington Midget Football/Cheer will continue to support the youth of Newington for years to come.
