Danbury Trojans

The Danbury Athletic Youth Organization (DAYO) was established in 1978 by a group of people interested in providing a quality youth Football/Cheer program for the children in our community. It wasn’t long before the Danbury Trojans became a dominant force in the Candlewood Valley League, winning numerous league, state, regional, and national championships. In 2003, we joined SCPW League. Over the years DAYO expanded our athletic programs by adding T-Ball, Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football and Lacrosse. All of our programs are run entirely by volunteers who unselfishly give of their time and talents. Today, our year-round athletic programs involve over 1,400 children.
